Directors Ride Challenge 2026
Theme: Weird Washington
The Directors Ride Challenge for 2026 will take us all over our state as we seek out many (but certainly NOT ALL) of the wild, weird, strange and wonderful sights folks have created for display in our beautiful Pacific Northwest.
You have from now until November 30th 2026 to complete the challenge. (This is so the Director can compile and verify his tracker so that we can pass out the awarded patches to those winners at the Chapter Holiday Party.)
Check the RULES below, and download the list or stop by the HOG Corner to see the list of checkpoints that qualify!
Rules for Playing:
In order to earn a Director’s Ride Challenge Patch and 2026 Year Rocker, you must:
1. Be a Silverdale Chapter 3500 HOG Member
2. Visit at least 30 out of the 40 checkpoints before November 30th, and:
a. Take a photo or selfie in front of the checkpoint WITH your bike (use common sense and your
judgement in how or where to take the photo)
b. Email photo to: directorsilverdalehog@gmail.com
c. Post your photo and brag about your accomplishment on our FaceBook page (Silverdale
Chapter 3500)!
Tips & Tricks:
o You can go to www.roadsideamerica.com and plug in each of the checkpoints from the list that follows that you wish to ride to and make your own map!
o Plan your own route and ride to those checkpoints to knock out ‘emyou’re your list!
o Share your plan with our other members by posting your ride on social media or by sharing with the Chapter at a monthly meeting, 'cause someone else just may be looking for an excuse to get out and ride, and you can be that excuse!
o Along your route, and in the area around the checkpoint, look to see what else is nearby -there are literally hundreds of other interesting places to visit besides just the checkpoints chosen for the Director’s Ride!
o Take advantage of any formally scheduled Chapter Rides to some of these checkpoints!
